Im doing Film restoration at a company called waterfront film studios. Its cool, but super stressful. We work like 12 hours a day every day. Well... only like 7 hours on saturday and sunday. But stull. Its hectic. No life. *sigh* But Im in the right place

Those characters are treacherous!!!!
You'l pick up on language and grammar very easily, however the same cannot be said about kanji LOL

i found a really good pdf that made learning kanji a lot easier, it boke it down to base shapes and gave those meanings the make them esier to remember. Kinda like using 1 image to remember multiple things, clever ^_^
But first! actually being able to say 'i'd like lots and lots of sushi please' would probably be my first goal

Lets see.
Phone - depends on how much you will use it, but its easy to acquire one.
Electricity - from Β₯1500- 3000 I think.
Water & Gas - Β₯3000~4000 but is paid for every 2 months
Internet - awesome and super fast around Β₯3000 - 4000
Rent - This is the tricky one hey. Thing is here in Japan the rooms are TINY! compared to what we are used to In S.A. Rent can also be ridiculous. For Example where most of my friends stay at, they pay around Β₯60,000 yen but honestly I think its not worth it. The rooms there are too cramped, and its just not nice. I bet I could find you waaaay better accommodation.
Food- Food is pricey, cant help that. But I reckon you can live from Β₯20,000 ~ 30,000 (maybe 15,000)
But I heard some people can survive on a lot less, if you don't mind eating Cup Noodles everyday.
It might seem like a nice source of food, however it gets to you lol, you get tired of eating it trust me.
So overall.
I love Japan claire really.

Basically no crime, and people know how to have fun.

I live in Tokyo, went to Kyoto last month and its amazing... wouldn't mind living there as well
