It varies depending on the type of picture but for the sci-fi type stuff mostly Yukito Kishiro, ghost in the shell and cyberpunk in general really. On a less sci-fi related note Masahiro Ito is one of my favourite artists and H.P Lovecraft stories always inspire me for more horror type stuff. Some video games have been an excellent source of inspiration too (Deus Ex and Metro 2033 most recently) and also a number of artists I follow on deviantart.
