Re: the fav, no problem whatsoever.Β That scene had a startlingly painted feel to it - it almost seemed more like an illustration than a 3D model, with a very strong atmosphere as a result.Β Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us!

Re: watch, it's all right. I don't exactly produce a whole lot in my current situation, so I can't say I expect to gain much of an audience just yet. Just the same, though, thanks for watching, and I hope my work continues to be worth your while.

It's not so much that I don't write any more as that I don't do poetry so much - my main writing nowadays comes in the form of fiction and devblogging for the game project I've been working on.
Re: poetry itself, much of what I wrote, I wrote during my worst years - when I was coping with powerful phases of depression and personal uncertainty, as well as before I learned much of what I know now. Though I still enjoy poetry as a means of expression, I just feel as though I don't have the ability to put words on paper in a truly effective way when it comes to that emotional experience - and so, I don't.
That said, I still have all my old poems - I just don't put them out for people to read, because I find them unsatisfactory for the most part. I don't think we truly can throw away that side of ourselves once it's awakened.

Fiction as in story fiction? I've never been one to read deviant fiction, simply because 99% of it is terrible (honestly, it's like good fiction is more diluted than good poetry!) but I wouldn't mind looking at yours. Do you post it here? It's been ages since I looked through your gallery, and I can't remember.
It's true that a lot of good poetry is spawned by bad experience. I guess that's a reason I write, as well. It's cleansing sometimes, and sometimes it isn't. But it's good to try hard at it.
I don't keep my poetry for long. When I write it on paper, I burn it or something after it's old and embarrassing, and if it's electronic I delete it. I guess I'm tired of taking myself back places where I didn't want to be. But I'll definitely be keeping certain poems. Even when I was a worse poet than I am now, there were occasional bursts of good writing. I completely understand why you wouldn't post your poetry. I find myself doing just that more and more these days, but I think I have something I'm almost ready to post, and I'm remarkably happy with it. Especially considering how frustrating poetry has been to me lately.
