It's my pleasure. Your works showcase a seemingly unique taste for composition and delicacy. Despite the "unorthodox" technique, they all convey a story and let the viewer's imagination run wild.
I'll keep an eye on your next creations for sure!

Hey, I am doing my own comic so I appreciate what you are doing with "wasteland flowers" I haven't posted anything of mine up on the internet because I feel that once you do that it becomes too easy to steal, the fact that you are posting anything at all shows me that you have great confidence, have you already got a deal with a publisher perhaps?

Well, the actual truth is, "wasteland flowers" is a fanproject, and the IP rights issue is so hard to solve now that any regular publication/commercial use of it will be unlikely, to say the least. Aside that, drawing is a hobby for me, and I am not really concerned in the business side. Not for this project, at least.
You can also use another viewpoint however: WF is my first, serious experiment in the realm of comics. Secondly it has provided the unique excuse to develop a new friendship with another person (who is my co-author). Right now, my main concern is to focus on the quality. If people "steal" my work, this can only mean that it is good. Also, in the long run, these same people might still appreciate it and be interested in getting an official/printed version. There are several online good comics all around the internet (seven lifes, zombie hunters, are just two not very bad instances). Their authors have been systematically uploading their pages online over the years, and now that they have reached a decent amount of pages they are trying to move on with self-publishing. Showing your stuff in advance can be a way to draw attention and create a first core audience. There is also a similar scheme adopted by a number of forerunners in music industry (nin and some minor bands). Some artists just put a first, rough version for free to d/load, and they sell deluxe versions of their work after a while.
All in all I must say, since WF is going to be about 150 pages long at least, showcasing some ten pages, brought at a decent quality, cannot hurt anybody.
The basic idea for wasteland flowers is to make an online comic, a first, rough version,to share it with the fan community of Oni, and then move on with an actual deal with a publisher.
Finally, there is my personal case. My life is too complicated for me to be concerned with the value or acknowledgment, or else, the recognition of "my art". I just need to draw. That's it. Once finished, my works have a life on their own, and they don't belong to me any more. But here I might sound kinda strange philosopher. So I will better shut up!
Thanks again for your comment and interest!

I can appreciate that response, I also acknowledge that the internet is a powerful way to share your stuff with those who are interested, I have been developing my own fantasy story for a few years now and I would still say that it was in its infancy, though I have high hopes for it, and thus want to try to go all the way with it keeping it as secure as possible (off the net). I hope your comic goes well, and I admire your spirit and resolve.
With a little luck and even more so skill I trust you will go far!
Regards

Sorry for replying so late, pawfeather, sadly I have been pretty busy these days -- and unable to write down anything here. Your enthusiasm overwhelms me. Your comments mean a lot. Besides, they come from an unordinary, talented artist like you!

With photos like these, you would earn respect from a professional! They are honest and meaningful.
I will keep an eye on what's coming next from you. There's some unspeakable sense of suspense and timelessness which attracts me. You just need a better camera: all the rest is already part of you. Keep up the good work.

Wow...I'm very flattered. I do love photography, but, like you said, I haven't got a camera. All of the photos I've taken are from a camera phone.
It's really nice to be recognised as someone with talent.
Thank you for your support.

I am really looking forward to seeing your next pictures (or should I say visions?).
I will stay tuned.

Visions, perhaps. Actually, I would call them visions. They are visions of beauty and interest.
Do you by any chance have msn?
I think that we could have many interesting conversations.
