Thanks for checking in!! Crazy stuff going on at work which is leaving me exhausted... I've gotten addicted to this stupid coloring app, I just finished reading a book & started another one (Scythe by Neal Shusterman. It takes place in the future when humanity has found a cure for death & every need & want is provided for, so they have a group of 'morally elite' cull to prevent over population. Pretty crazy. One part really stood out to me, there was a family reunion & there were SO many relatives! If you didn't die, how many kids/siblings/aunts/uncles/step-parents would you end up having!? That scares me!) I'm also working on a crochet unicorn based off of rainbow dash via request. A friend gave me her crested gecko, Flash (I've posted pics of him) & I'm working on setting up a bigger tank for him. I didn't have much luck at the reptile expo for decor, so that bums me out.
I hope you & your family are getting on well with the puppy!! I love that little guy! Is Chibi jealous?

Your welcome! I really liked the 'light' arrows & the red blood really stands out. Can you imagine trying to pull an arrow out of your own back!

Depending on where it was, dang, would you pull it out or push it the rest of the way through? I've been working on a story for a long time and my main character finds himself in trouble a lot. I guess he likes to learn things the hard way. *sighs* He's definitely been shot by an arrow before.

Your welcome!  I too am native and I've always wanted to know more about customs and traditions.  But my parents got divorced when I was young and I don't see my dad any more and he was all native and my mom isn't at all, so I was never really able to learn much.  I would gladly listen to any stories you have to tell!

I relate some of the stories as they were told to me by other dancers and friends through the years!You can read them under the description of some of my photos and native pieces!!!!
I moved around alot back and forth across Canada and went through many schools,often feeling a bit detached in part from my native heritage and the fact that we would move often-sometimes it was tough...mostly lonely.
i never really got into the culture untill just before leaving high school-but im sure glad in did as it has only enriched my life personally!!!!
Hope some of the stories and thoughts behind my stuff gives some interesting food for thought and of course some cool art/crafts/photos to enjoy!
