OK, I'm creeping back into the 54 mm toy soldiers again. I'm starting by using acrylics, I think I'm going to have to get the Andrea book on painting with acrylics. I may have to drift back to some use of oils though as I like the way they blend much more than the acrylics. I using your cape color for the knights(I'm doing now). So far 5 coats of paint and, as usual, I'm still not happy.

Acrylics do take some getting used to if you normally using oils... very different kettle of fish... not easy going the other way either! I've tried oils... will add years to my experimenting im sure.
None of us are ever happy with what we do... we have to keep trying! Same old, same old...

Wooow, you paint figures in such an amazing way. Like the greyish thing you do. Your painting is so incredible. Makes me want to paint, but then I try and give up. Do you modify alot of your figures?

Well, thank you... i have tried to create my own style over the years.
I tend to modify most models i do, but just sometimes, i leave them alone and just paint them

Wel, most of the models i paint are 28 - 32mm... some i buy, some i make myself.
Charge depends on what the model is, level of detail, and any modifications wanted...
