Hey man! All good, I've just been too busy and haven't been able to have any shoots. Having said that there was a con here over the weekend and I was able to go on Saturday, so there will be some photos soon!

Glad to hear it, looking forward to those photos! Seems like we've all been busy in one way or another.

I'm doing... well, I'm all over the place. Been in Vaca in Toronto for a week or so. I've taken pictures of some of the highlights (looks like you are rubbing off on me XD ) so those will be up eventually.
But yeah, been good. Been crazy active for a time that is supposed to be spent on vacation, but I guess thats just the way I do it!

I understand that feeling, hehe. I usually end up more tired from vacation than rested, hehe. Especially in recent years when I go and visit my family, because we want to do so much in a week or two, that it's crazy, hehe.

I think most probably do. Especially that feeling after you first arrive home after being away for weeks at a time.

What attracted you to Canada? (And if I may ask, what institution/city? I'd understand if you don't wanna release that, location, ya know.)

Not a problem!

When I was little, my dad got sent to the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, to take some courses on education. His last weeks here was my first of summer break and so my mom and I came to visit him. 

Vancouver was the first city that I was allowed to walk by myself for a decent amount of time, which made it very interesting in my infant eyes. So I told my parents that I wanted to study university there. 

A couple years later, during my mid teens, I came back to visit the city and the campus, was still in love with it and decided that yes, that was the place I wanted to live. Even though I had no idea what I wanted to study back then. And a handful of years later, here I am, about to graduate from UBC and hopefully stay in Canada for at least 3 more years after this!

I see that you were born in Canada and then moved to the states, where were you born? And do you visit Canada at all?

Wow! Thats an awesome story!
I actually have an aunt that used to live in Vancouver until recently! I've been there... once, I believe. It was really nice.
It had a different feel than the city I'm from did, anyway.
I just imagine... if he didn't have those education courses to take. Things could've been so different!

Toronto Canada. Basically, what I look at now as the hub of the country. Every time I go there, it feels like it.
My whole dad's side of my family is there, basically. We go every few years to visit. ^_^
But, because of the distance, I am only somewhat close to my grandparents. All my cousins and other aunts and uncles still feel... not as close.

Its definitely been interesting, being raised in a different country than the one you were born in. Especially because its so close. Since I've become so interested and invested in politics and philosophy, I had the idea of running for president one day.

That was dashed by the requirement that the president must have been born in the US. I could still be PM of Canada, however, it is tough to choose where my loyalties lie. The two countries are divided somewhat, philosophically.

Canada is supposed to be on the left of the political spectrum, where socialism resides. Whereas the US, is SUPPOSED to be on the right of the political spectrum, where capitalism (or, as one of my teachers has us call it now, neo-liberalism) resides.

So, thats always been on my mind. Just kinda how my mind works in general. Agreeing with people such as F. A. Hayek, Thomas Paine, Adam Smith, etc... who may have disagreed with one another on how certain things should be done and accomplished!

Wow, this was a long reply. I kinda rambled.

But again, to answer your questions, I was born in Toronto, Ontario. Moved away when I was around a year old, lived in the states ever since. And we go visit every few years.

I've played around with the idea of living there, but I'm not sure. Toronto is basically the Canadian version of New York, comparatively, so it would definitely be interesting, to say the least.
