Yes, I have a project that I'm working on and I'm planning another big, difficult one after the great responses I got on my Sally OOAK doll. Really exited!

Okay, awesome! your Sally doll looked great, I can't believe you started with a Rapunzel doll as your base. She looks exactly like how she was in the film, even down to the different patterns in her dress.
I was going to recreate Belle's dress from the live action film for my limited edition Belle doll since the skirt was actually not accurate to how it was in the film, but sewing is sadly not for me. I do love designing costumes though, I just can't bring them to life physically.

Thank you!I had so many reference pictures, I think 50 or so including sreenshots,I really wanted to make sure every detail is right. I'm also not good at sewing and usually need to work piece for piece while doing an dress and at the end, sewing everything together on the doll. The dresses are not removable, but I think accurate, like Sally's

Well I think that's awesome, references are vital when working on something like that. I was using a bunch of different references for my recent Belle illustration to help me with colors and capturing likeness. I can understand that struggle, but I will say that doesn't show in the finished piece. I think it fits her very nicely.
It doesn't bother me as much anymore, the embroidery on the top tier and the rhinestones makes up for it. The dress originally did have lower tiers like you see on all of the merchandise, but they decided to change it during filming due to the heaviness to help the dress dance and float during the Beauty and the Beast dance sequence. I think the reason they didn't change it with dolls and merchandise is because dolls and such are made like a year or so in advance, so it was too late.
I kept the petticoat on, but I did pull it down a bit so it could be full at the bottom, but it's more loose at the waist. It helped to keep it less round and more flared like it is in the film.

Interesting! Good to know. I think the dress looks very nice without the petticoat, it swings more like in the movie, but I kept it on also. It's quite beautiful for display uses.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Moana. It was kinda my fault Frozen got ruined for me, so I just dile back on what I look up. I also have Tumblr filtered against any spoilers out there. lol

I would simply look at google for news or so since it doesn't really spoil anything, at least for me, if you don't actually search for it. Maybe adding a hashtag and spoiler free behind it might do it also for tumblr.
