Glad to hear about your wonderful weekend! I had a pretty decent one overall. I had to work on Saturday, but hey, that's life. Got a lot of good workouts in at the gym though. So, at least there's that!

Well, it takes some time to get rooted in the community. Way back when, it was a smaller community and I had a lot of free time (as I was a little kid!). These days I just poke on for a few hours every week and then disappear... sometimes for months at a time, both due to the Navy and due to getting busy with other aspects of life.

BUT! Do not be lonely! We're now best e-friends -- that's gotta count for something!

So, what's your story ma'am?

My story is being a Senior in High School as of right now and then being excellent at whatever I choose to do. My calling though ( As I presume yours is the Navy) is being a humanitarian in India after School for a few years.

Don't disappear unless you have to, because that's no good sir. Best e-friends don't do that ya know.

My brother is going into the Marines, and I know how it feels to see someone you love pursue the life they love. So I know we've never met, but I'm scared for you and praying for you.

Ah, Senior year! I wasn't a big fan of high school and didn't really click with a lot of my peers. I was interested in other things besides drugs I suppose. If you're on my blog, that'd be August 2005 and on. :P (Lick)

My calling, well, who knows. I got a communication degree with a double minor in anthropology and philosophy, meaning I'm aptly suited for... something. I worked for deviantART for a while, and several advertising firms, and then hoped to get a major job in it after college, but it was in 2010 and the market was abysmal. I worked in the oil fields for a while before I shipped off -- good money, but not a career. Finally, I decided I'd go for my childhood dream of joining the military, and the Navy worked out best for me. Hard to say if this is what I'll always do, but it is something I'm proud of -- much more than anything I've done before.

What got you involved in humanitarian causes? And in India?

Hah, well, I often don't get on this site, but you seem like an interesting person to talk to, so feel free to text me -- that's something I will do unless I'm on a submarine, and that won't be for a hot minute. 210 279 0660.
