Thank you so much for the kind comments. Maybe you can help me clear up a mystery. You aren't the first to suggest a folk-art feel, but I've never actually heard a good definition so now I'm a bit confused, haha. What do people mean when they something seems like folk art?

Hmm I think for me it's your clean and simple palette and the sepia tones you use that give it kind of a rustic feel, and something about the way you shade using lines under the colour . . . haahaha I guess "folk artsy" is kind of a vague description.

Haha, even a tutorial on your haphazardness would be great. Its not necessarily that I want to sell my soul to your technique, but something you are doing is working for you and perhaps seeing your process will spark an idea for me, give me something to play with.
