So I'm curious as to the interest in sign language.

I want to be a psychologist for the deaf, so I'm currently teaching myself sign language. I'm probably going to need an actual teacher soon. It's hard to learn a language if you don't get to practice it. :/

Ah that is spiffy reason, could work with autistic children as well. A lot of them are taught sign language so they can communicate. I use to know a lot of sign langugae but that pesky problem of not getting to practice erased most of it. Which reminds me I need to practice my Russian more haha.Β

I wanted to learn Russian by using Rosetta Stone. I found it didn't work for me.Β
But I find sign language is a much easier language, because the signs just make sense. The sign for banana looks like you are peeling an invisible banana peel off your finger. Pretty epic. xD

I yell at a lot of Amish in Russian XD I do have a few friends though that I Skype with. Haven't been there sadly, have been through most of the US, Canada, Sweden and Germany though. Jag kanna inte prada svenske ( I don't speak Swedish in Swedish) haha. I speak a little bit of Hungarian, Polish, and German as well.Β

Hi i have been doing fx makeup for about 6 months now. i have been getting better but i was wandering it you would walk me through the process you go through to do some of the affects you came up with it would help me a great deal.

HOW TO MAKE A WOUND (using Scar Wax): you roll it into two small tubes and lather them in spirit gum. Wait about 30 seconds for it to become tacky then stick it into parallel lines. Smooth out the outer edges into the skin so it looks like a tear in the skin. Leave the inner ridges rough. Paint the inside dark red and along the edges of the wound. Then use fake blood (either store-bought or homemade from corn syrup) to drip inside the wound, and let a bit dribble out.Β
HOW TO CREATE A WART/MOLE (using liquid latex): Dab on a small circle in the desired place. Wait to dry. Then continue for about 5 layers. Once it's nice and plump, add the desired color to the top of the lump to blend into the skin. So it just looks like a skin lump. Depending on whether you're becoming a witch for this makeup or not, you might need some green paint.Β
I'm not entirely sure what else to offer regarding prosthetics except to add Spirit Gum to the bottom of it and glue it on. You can use Scar Wax to blend it in to the skin, so it doesn't look choppy and rough. Then use concealer or some kind of paint to smooth it off. I particularly love to glue on elf ears... but these prosthetics (as with any kind) can hurt when removed, so you may need Special Spirit Gum Remover.Β
To become Pinhead, I apply three layers of liquid latex to my face. Then paint it white. Blue eyeshadow around the eyes and mouth, then blend it in. Use red eyeliner or blue eyeliner to create the grid pattern on his face. To stick pins on, use liquid latex on the bottom of the pins and attach it to the already existing liquid latex on your face. Hold for 30 seconds on each pin. You may need a bald cap if you go all out. I like to be the lady version of Pinhead, so I just keep my hair out like normal.Β
