How come you decided to start a new account? Like, what was the reason? I always wonder when people do it. I've had mine for so many years myself.

I've had the other one since I was 13 and I just feel like it's time to start over. I'm turning 18 in two weeks, going off to college next fall (hopefully to major in Illustration) and my other account, I felt like it was too childish for me.
Sort of like, that account was for the me that was still discovering herself as an artist, the child version of myself. I wanted a more mature account, I guess one could say, without the childishness of my old account holding me back.

...Does that make any sense? XD

I mean, I guess it makes sense. But I suppose I'm left wondering why you wouldn't just change the old account into the one you want it to be like you are as a person? Growing and maturing as an artist in every way.

I guess I want it as a reminder of sorts. Just like a token of my beginning stages of an artist.

I also really did not like the username. I felt it was too impersonal for me and I wanted a change.
