Thank You, April, you have added so much to the joy of my post photos by your comments, I will start back posting some more at the end of summer. I am spending most of my time editing photos from different events, and for some groups and organizations. I had to do shots for a wedding a couple of weeks ago, and they take a lot of time to get ready.
Your photos are getting better and better, I love the ones from Grandfather Mountain!

Oh shoot, I'm flattered!I've been looking at my photos more carefully than I used to, and I take more and adjust the brightness settings on them more. I think that helped a lot. And Grandfather Mountain does have that tourist trap element, but it is amazing going across that bridge and standing on the rocks overlooking the area. Wow! I'll bet you've been burning the midnight oil from choosing, editing and perfecting things for all of those people huh? Don't worry! Just take your time with your most important projects and I'll always be hanging around here.

Yea, editing is taking me a lot longer, Mac updated my photo program, and ruined it in the process. It was a great program, but now it is trash. I am using a 30 day trial of Lightroom4, but it is new to me so I am taking longer with it as well.
The first important thing with photos is getting the focus as clear as possible, you can correct a lot of other things, but focus is not easy to fix. I can't see the monitor on my camera real well, so I don't always know what I have until I get home. It is good to take several shots, on the same scene, so you have more to choose from, and with digital it doesn't cost anything, and you can delete the ones you don't want later.

I see! Oh man, I hope you can find a good program that you like then. And I'll keep your lesson about focus in mind for future reference. Sometimes I get so tired on those hikes though that I forget to put the focus in and things go to pot a bit. XD

Celia, shoot! I'm sorry! The more I talk to people the better I am with names, but it's a very pretty one. And, man, I'm getting all my plans finalized for something at the Outer Banks from August 3rd-6th. If I can't find a good hotel, I can always try East TN or the entirety of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Either way, I need some alone time because I'm a little burnt out.

Oh, and you were right about my ziplining trip. It was almost as good as the Navitat one I went to in Asheville. ^_^ On one of the zips, the guide actually bounced the line and it felt like a roller coaster ride.
