Unfortunately, despite deviantART as a site permitting fanart, as a group, #theanimationsource doesn't accept anything with copyrighted/non-original characters - I apologise that our rules are a bit vague on that front and that will be edited immediately to make it more clear. I shall also refer you to 'Why was my submission declined?' at the group itself for further information that also covers our policies on GIF and Flash submissions.

If there's a problem relating to the group in the future, please can you send us a note to #theanimationsource 's inbox via the group's front page, rather than commenting directly on a moderator's personal page. Thank you!

Thanks ^^ Is great the amount of artists Ive managed to meet through Deviantart who are actually locals too! And everybody is so supportive, especially when they have been through what I want to study too :')

Thanks for the compliments on my gallery! I still have alot to improve on but for my age im pretty happy with my progress :') My teachers are thrilled with my coursework too, so Im just about to make an attempt at finishing my animation for them, ready for after christmas!

The support network on this site is brilliant, definitely! The community aspect is definitely part of what keeps me coming back to this site - that, and all the awesome artwork that people submit!

Good luck with the work! And don't worry about feeling that need to improve - it's something all artists share, no matter how old or experienced they are, and if you don't feel it, then you really ought to. Something I've learned - if you can look back at something you did a year ago, and realise you're still at that level, you need to practice more. It's a slightly harsh tip, but it's served me well, I think!
