Yeah. I generally try to make mine that way, but I'm no weapons expert, so I often have difficulty with it. If you're wiling, I'd like you to be my weapons consultant for the future :) (Smile) You seem quiet capable.

Your art style is very interesting (in a good way). I like the way you chose your colour for your OCs and your art style tells me how many thoughts and ideas you really put into your OCs. You taught me something very important today so thank you.
There is one thing that I want to suggest. Even though, your art style is pretty good, you should try to challenge yourself to draw your OCs in a various positions or pose and draw more strong facial expression so that your OCs wouldn't look so stiff. You should try using references like stick figures and try to make a natural pose.
This could help giving personality to your OCs visually for example:
"A character crossing their arm with disgusted face" to show how this character could easily get annoyed and how bossy they are.
"A characters putting their hands on their hip with their head facing a little bit high with a smirk on their face" to show how confidence and how sneaky they are.
Using a base is fine, however it is worth a try to challenge yourself.

Wow, thank you for this, truly. (and thank you for the favorites I really appreciate those) I do actually try and draw my characters in poses (albeit very rarely) I usually just keep them in my sketchbook and never post them here because they suck lol. I'm still kind of new to doing poses and facial expressions. I am curious though. What did you learn from me?
