i spent all day reviewing the process man it's complicated i'm doing the version based on a historical account of the building [link] (in Italian) and executed by Giorgio Flenghi here is his web site its one of the most detaile building logs i have ever read. (literally thousands of photos) he gives many insights into the process of doing a museum quality build from the keel up to the main deck and mast nothing on rigging at this point but i don't think he has progress that far yet.

yes i saw that one it is a good example thanks for the link. its nice to know that there are great resources out there to help!. the stern is a real challenge i have all the plans laid out i have to wait until i move my wood shop to my new house in june then I am on it. i hope to complete this in 2 years the guy i'm following took 10 years to build his version i just don't know if i want to do some cutaways or finish it completely its a shame to cover up all that work.
