Impact
The scene itself looks symmetrical and peaceful. But the picture has too much stuff, my eye wanders. There are too many center pieces (The man, the flowers, the candles, ceramics, and incense). The sides of the scene take away the impact for me. Those boards with the name plates(?) pictures, and whatever that rainbow object is, feel all out of place. And I can't help but feel that natural light, even if it made the scene dimmer, would have been better. The room light seems too harsh. But other than that, it's a wonderful picture and it does feel very spiritual.

Do remeber that this is a phot form lif,e so the photographer essentially must photgraph what he sees...

I've found that most temples and shrines are impressive and beautiful. It's the scale that varies.

Oh I love them all. I just made a point about this one as it was rather large with a giant intricately carved boulder at it's center. Quite different to what I've seen before. But aside form this monk and his wife, no-one else there.

Amazing composition! The balance of the photo lets me enter into the peaceful and contemplative moment. The well-though-out presentation seems to show respect, not just common curiosity.

But why tomorrow? Buddhist priests surely don't care about tomorrow, they just live here-and-now
