To be fair, he's not complaining; he's trying to make a point and try and help comeone NOT to get in an awkward position.
I, myself, didn't think that someone could get a ban from having a flashins "seizure" icon, but I do understand what he's saying: He doesen't want any drama to come later if someone actuallly accuses someone like Zazuko or Crazygirl etc. for having an icon that caused them to have an epileptic fit.
Now. I don't know if people with serious epilepsey should really be using a computer (It sounds pollitically incorrect to say so, but it IS logical), but when someone goes and names an entire set of iccons "Seizure Icons" then they're seriously asking a virtual slap fight.
Even if someone doesen't have epilepsey, then someone will be bound to pretend, just to get their way at the creators.
What Noname4you is trying to do is HELP the situation, not make it worse. He's not flaming and he's not having a go at anyone. He is trying to STOP any drama coming from this in the furure and, quite frankly, I agree.
As for the fact of the argument that his avatar also "flashes", there is a world of difference between a slowly animated avatar and one composed entireley of flashing colours with the self-applied label of "Seizure icons" eg. Icons to make people have a seizure.
That's where the problem is, that is what this person is saying.
I'm being respective to all in this situation, so don't feel that I'm "taking sides", as I'm only trying to help the situation as well before every Seizureicon fan is at war with whoever thinks it's not the best idea.

I would have to disagree with you partly. Noname4you told me to take my icon down because he felt like it. There was absolutely no reason behind it. It made me lol that he told me over and over again about how I would cause epilepsy with my icon when he obviously had a stamp that was twice as bad in his journal: [link]
It makes me wonder why he didn't contact *zazouko first; it seems so logic seeing she is the creator of those icons...
I appreciate that you are trying to help, but, this problem was solved quite a while ago.
(Also, you cannot become banned with a seizure icon, it's only if you copy and paste the icon in rows and rows.)

His icon now doesn't flash, but before it did. I'm admitting that at least. It would flash orange then flash red letters over and over again. It was meant as an animation but it wasn't a slow animation.
I understand you're not taking sides. I'm only getting involved because it was unfair that they had said 'no flashing icons' but they themselves had one before.

It was probably deleted due to the fact that, not particuarlly the fact that it could enduse seizures, but the fact that someone is making lightof the situation, very much like what the creators of the seizure icons are doing.
I'm all for jokes at some people's expense, as it's only a joke, but when someone has something mentally wrong with them I don't believe it to be right.
