I feel very pleased with this drawing. It was a big work but I feel I achieved what I wished for. In January this year I was browsing DA and found this photo, which made me fall in love with the motive and the comforting atmosphere. I asked the owner of the photo: [link] to allow me to draw it and she agreed. I finally felt it was time to do the drawing, and I am happy I did as it somehow has a great meaning to me. I like the feeling of him protecting her and watching over her, as an angel would. I wanted to leave white space around them as I felt it was most suitable somehow and made it more angelic. The drawing is big which made it a rather time consuming drawing.I hope you like it

This is beautiful in composition and overall execution.. the softness and white background give it a slight glow to add to the calm and pure grace of an angel. Love the details you added to the feathers too! Lots of interesting textures here.. You are indeed great in your craft.
