Adaptation: Freezing Breath

Description: A species of large reptile, specifically hypothesized to be a large aetosaur. This due to the skull shape having a similar up turned snout for eating tough vegetation. Its armor being similar to that of aetosaur fossils and possess the under armor that many specimens also possess. Even down to the legs which have a structure that appears very similar to a modified leg structure to that of early archosaurs. The legs being covered in large armor to add to its defense. The most distinctive feature of the creature is its arms. More muscular than any aetosaur and having a closer resemblance to Moles or Armadillos. Long claws help it dig through solid ground and the enlarged scales along the upper arm help push loose stone and earth to produce an effective digging system. This system is also facilitated by its two large nasal horns. Able to drive the horns into caverns to beginning the digging process, it is as much a tool as it is a weapon to defend itself.

Powers: Possessing a specialized organ that produces a chemical which freezes once it makes contact with the air for an extended period of time. This breath able to induce frostbite when it makes contact with the skin. And more deadly is the residual ice being highly radioactive.

Benefits: Being large herbivores and insectivorous. A Megalostegus is normally not a danger to humans, and the freezing breath if countered with the use of anti-radiation practices can provide an environment that is far cooler than the surrounding area and could help combat global warming.
