there is a big empty space,
a void of nothingness.
the air within was thin,
barely breathable.
taking short sharp breaths,
between moments she forgets.
an emptiness devoid of matter,
but wisps of floating
memories.

and from the long dream she woke
to that something important
which had gently slipped away
from her memory.

When I first saw this photo (the miniature), I thought it portrayed two women... or a 'full' woman hugging a faceless (even headless) woman... Now that I see it up close, it makes me sad. She looks somehow lonely, as if she was embracing her own solitude.
