During the end of October I was listening to a true crime podcast about Karla Faye Tucker, who (along with her boyfriend) murdered 2 people with a pick axe-(there are additional depraved details I won't go into here). Once locked up, she became a born again christian, and spent 14 years on death row attempting to commute her sentence to one of life imprisonment, with the help of many prominent groups and people, including the pope and even the prison warden believed she'd been reformed. Nevertheless she was eventually executed. It's a really interesting and morbid case, and it really got into my head and inspired this drawing.
