This is so awesome! When I first glanced at it I thought it was just a kick ass eye but as you look at it you notice that it is a peacock feather. I really like the symbolism/ metaphor.

Do you know the Greek Myth about how Peacocks got these eye designs on their feathers? One of Hera's servants who had a thousand eyes was set to stand guard over Io (one of Zues' lovers who had been transfigured into calf form so that Hera wouldn't discover Zues with her). Hermes killed him (I believe his name was Argus) to save Io, and when Hera found him, she placed his eyes on the feathers of her favorite bird: the peacock. So, I find it strangely fitting that you would use the peacock feather in this way. It's beautiful.
