I know this was to practice human figures. But here I am astonished by the water, and the translucent cloth.
The way the hair and the cloth interacts with the water and the ripples looks amazing to me.
I also adore the way you do faces. They've got this really nice subtlety to them. Each facial feature is clearly readable and stands out, yet isn't too contrasting.
Very often faces draw all the attention in a drawing, even if there is far more to see. But here everything else that is drawn is given space to be observed as well.

She emerged from the waves like a warrior triumphant.
Tall and as proud as a mountain she strode out onto the shore as friends and one time enemies watched with awe struck silence.
It was remarkable!
It was incredible! It was an event that would be long remembered, etched into the hearts and minds of all who were to witness it.
It was a battle for the ages, an of single combat that was a war unto itself!
Unarmed, unshielded, and unaided she Yuumei the fair engaged in battle with the "Demon of the lake". She, unarmed fought a fiend
that sported an arsenal of fiendishly deadly weaponry.
With tooth, with claw it attacked!
With talon, and with venomous fang it sprang upon her!
With wicked spiked tail, and with the toxins from its mouth it sought to claim her life...
But she, unarmed, she unaided, and she without a single piece of mail, iron plating, or shield, she alone survived the heat of combat.
Upon her defenders and her benefactors she smiled and cast the full and radiant warmth of her just devotion.
To her enemies and detractors came the heat, flame and fiery glare, the calm and patient warning of a just and noble protector:
tempt not my enduring patience, or mock the good and just, for if you do fight back I will and end thee if I must...
