It was a big learning experience creating this fella[edit] Tweaked a few details based on crit... Put front feet on ground, and then realize it's on the wrong side. Dimmed the back leg crystal. Did not add muscle to jaw because I actually did wanted the turtle/ancient fish look (but thank you still, Therius!), and filled in the gaps in skeleton drawing.
[edit 2] Tweaked more stuff based on more feedback. Touched up presentation too.

Very well creation of a fantasy creature, I see a little borrowed features, might be subconciously - nothing wrong in trying different sides. Like the comparing of a human Vs. the beast. As well, you went as far as to describe that they are egg layers as well (I expected with the drawing of them).
Must give a A+ on the crystalized scales, they really do hold a good bit I work in them I can guess, fitting quite well for the beast. I would maybe have expected it to crouch along the ground a bit more, the stance now looks more like it just feasted and is trotting around (Personal view of course).
I admire that you do something that I've noticed others don't always think about, the eggs standing quite out from the breed you have created. I like it, it is sorta a indication, 'My eggs'.
Would love to see a little more crystal development on the tail, the beast being the size right where a little fighting with the tail is possible as well.
As well as with the corner of the mouth (but this is my nit-picking) maybe indicate muscle stretch or curve it a little more to avoid looking like a turtle mouth?
Overall, quite like the development you gave it, as well as giving time to make it a reference sheet (size, color, structure).

Good show! You're definitely getting the hang of the whole fantasy-animal illustrator thing. The colors came out well, and the rendering for the crystals/scales is the best part. You can really 'feel' what it would feel like if you somehow brushed up against it. The overall design looks nice as well, and the teal crystals on the underside are a nice contrast. I think you could get away with putting a lot more of them on top, maybe as even some sort of 'border' like an ankylosaurus would have.
Only things I can think of to maybe change would be the front legs, because I think one would be down while walking in order to support the front of its body.
I don't get what the rating system terms on the side mean (the DA stars) -> They're all very subjective terms.
