Description
This is a fun little project that I have been working on that features most of the locomotives that worked on the Fordell Railway in Scotland. The Fordell Railway was started by Sir Robert Henderson of Fordell in 1770. First steam operation wasn't 1868. The railway in one form or another was in operation for 180 years. Although my Hendersons came from Ireland, the Henderson name traces back to Scotland. My wife and I had our DNA done and my son gave me a membership to the Clan Henderson Society. We have been working on the Family Tree and finding all sorts of interesting stuff.
