Description
The Snow Triplets. These ones are strange indeed. So far we got to explain how rain is made in the mystery world, but what about snow? Well, thats where these triplets come in handy. First of all, like all triplets they are inseparable. They are always hanging out together, hovering over the sea which separates the mystery tree forest from where the white matrix lives. They re good friends with the Cloud Matrix, probably because their tasks are similar? Well, i am not sure. What i am sure of though is that these fellas got some serious skills in snow making. And you cant actually see it happen, no. theres no silly lolipops and stuff. Its just magic. its an ancient ritual, described in the Old Book as The Dance Of The Snow Triplets. Here's a quote from the book:"When snow is needed in the Mystery world, the White Matrix has to call the Snow Triplets. The Snow Triplets then begin the Ancient Dance Of The Snow Triplets, forming an imaginary circle over the snow seal which is previously etched on the ground where snow is needed. They start moving in three different orbits, while humming the ancient chants. Then, suddenly their tentacles become transparent, making them look like three white balls which are then stacked on top of eachother, forming something that looks like a snowman. instantly, snow flakes appear to fall from the sky, covering the triplets. The snow lasts only for a day as
the triplets (which now look like a snowman) remain frozen, covered in thick snow untill it melts, thus setting them free again. " Old Book, Chapter 8, page 168
Tough job, that is.

It's easy to see the subtle improvement in your pieces, you seem to add more and more detail in each piece.

I guess youre right, although there are some pieces where I cant seem to go too crazy with detail, dunno. this one happened, to be honest. I started with a gradient, altered it a bit (* the same grad used in the Quiet night of quiet stars piece) and then i thought i should come up with a new Matrix.. The rest is history, hahaha..
But yeah, i get what you saying. I am not sure though if theres continuity between some of my pieces. As far as style is concerned of course. I think i always try to give the impression of each piece, trying to reflect the narrative in the best way, so i dont compromise with style, i do whatever suits best each piece im working on.
oh well...

I know what you mean, if you keep a piece too similar to others in the series then it can end up looking boring as people can think they've seen it all before, on the other hand if you make drastic changes to make a piece more individual you run the risk of unbalancing your series and style. So far I think you've struck a good balance, your talents and style is naturally growing and progressing anyway so go with the flow.

well, thats strange cuz i was thinking of doing a product design project.. I am still looking for anyone who s got time and energy to help me do it. I was thinking actually of making a matrix that could be used as a light. I ve done some drafts, but still.. My knowledge on product design is inadequate.
Well maybe in the next few years.

I suppose if you want to make a step in product design, you may want to find someone who's studying in the relevant courses?
I dunno much about product design, but honestly, i guess if you wanted to be a product designer, all you need to do is to draw different angles of your design, so ppl know what it looks like. Technical stuff, (say if you want it to be a standing lamp), someone who's technical would responsible for it in the production. Or you have to discuss that with someone who's technical while doing your designing...
Anyway, i do really hope one day you gonna have your own merchandise product for selling, with your weirdink logo on it,
even if i haven't got much money, i'd still gonna buy at least a piece. I dun care even i have to starve for the rest of the month... lol =^.^=

I'm so happy you've posted again. I just put one of your works as my desktop (birth of the white matrix), and now you put out this. Splendid! Now I'll have to decide what to put there again.
ever think of making one to be used specifically as a wallpaper?
