Hey, everyone. So, as you probably know, yesterday (03/07), we received the awful news that Akira Toriyama passed away. I've been quite busy with my personal life and I didn't have much time this week to work on models. However, I had to make something to honor the creator of one of my most favorite animes of all time. Unlike most people, I didn't grow up watching Dragon Ball Z, but instead I watched Dragon Ball Super when I were a bit older, leading me to go back to Z and to engage on the franchise and it's incredible characters, storylines, games, movies, fandom and, of course, manga. I still need to watch the Classic anime and finish all episodes of Z in order, but I also need to read the manga editions too. This franchise inspired to evolve my creativity, my 3D modeling and MMD skills. I don't know where I would be if I hadn't watched Dragon Ball. So, I wanted to pay my tribute to Akira, whose work made possible for all the world to engage on the anime culture. I haven't made a single new MMD picture of Dragon Ball since 2018, but I felt that I needed to do something, to tell my personal experience and how much it means to me, and how much it'll keep inspiring and growing on me. Thank you, Akira Toriyama.

The models are from the Dragon Ball FighterZ game, I converted them to MMD, but they were previously converted to .dae by OZci . The nimbus was made by starrk17, and I used this tutorial from Evelyn's Art to make my picture. The effects are the same I use on my usual pictures.
