Soo Crunchyroll was hosting a fanart contest (and I made it to the top 10!), essentially they wanted anthropomorphic forms (gijinka, TAN's, etc) of various anime companies including Crunchyroll. So I was hoping to show the branding well as the main focus through color.

I also wrote up a short blurb about each one that I included in my submission email:

I liked the idea of portraying them in school uniforms, since I thought the unique branding would show through pretty nicely. I decided they would all be from different schools, like they were childhood friends but all ended up at different high schools.

NISA-TAN: The super cute gamer girl with an attitude. Decked out in a Prinny hat, Laharl-esque scarf, and white PSP with Prinny charm.

Crunchy-TAN: A loud and personality filled tsundere. She faces all challenges head on and is a little bossy. She goes to a private school, and is a hall monitor.

Funi-TAN: The fun loving care-free guy that everybody likes to hang around. His school doesn't have a uniform, and he is always seen with his headphones.

Ani-TAN: She's actually an android! She's extremely intelligent, but wants to experience school like other humans her age. She's a class president type that everybody looks up to because of her beauty, smarts and talent.

Anyways, I derp'd when I originally submitted and forgot to make my file RGB instead of CMYK, so the colors got funky on facebook where they posted it...So I'm posting it here.
