Here is the finished Nightmare commission piece. The commissioner asked for something very similar to my Nightmare VII piece, and done in the pen-and-gouache style like my Hyena Bones, but "creepier and more twisted" and sort of surrealistic. It was a lot of fun! To see more on this project as well as thumbnails, see my Scrapbook / Scraps Gallery.Obviously it is not meant to be a real horse; I took many liberties with the anatomy.
