Description Herman Drone: The Modern American Man

this comic took me a real-ass long time to draw. About a month and a half. But I think it was time well spent. Let me know what you think.

Makes me think a bit of Shel Silverstein, whose work I adore.
Wonderful stuff you have here, so much going on you don't even notice the first time few times you look at it.
Wonderful character and great style!

My heart bled a little.

That was excellent. You really conveyed the mood of the story and the feeling of claustrophobia with the art. The ostensible simplicity really being full of complexity, especially with the shading. And the expressiveness...!

In other news, That was perfect.

It's funney because it's true (or I just have a really warped sense of humour).
Definetly time well spent! I like the story and the texture of the drawings.

Nice hard edged vibe to the story and the style! Keep up the good work.

This reminds me of Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth. Not so much the actual artwork (which fits the mood very well, by the way) but the subject matter, and the loss of hope after trying so hard to succeed.

Great work

There's something pretty about this page, even though it's not the happiest ending to a story.
And in the second page, Herman could see something about himself in the fish (or atleast that's what I got from it)... Poor guy, eh? *More like poor fish* Ah well. A really nice comic ya got here.
