Description
These creatures are of a celestial nature and are the agents of Umberia, the goddess of fire. They are powerful beings that are capable of a limited immortality. Unlike most beings, the Pheonix gets stronger with age. But never so strong to match a god.

This means that ALMOST nothing on the Terra Plane can match a pheonix of full strength. If somehow slain in combat, either by another celestial creature, or one of comparable strength. Their soul is sent back to the Plane of Flames in which their master dwells. Slowly gathering up their strength and fire to return to the glory in which they were.

However, if someone is crafty enough to entrap the soul, or bind the Pheonix to the material plane via a spell of some kind. They can then be slain as their soul can't be returned to their home plane to gather fire.
