Yeah... Classical shot of waterdrop dirpping
But without a good flash and macro lens it's very difficult to catch the exact moment... I know,i tried And I think every one who has a camera tried! But yours photo looks like it was taken from manual!

i've tried this before and never gotten a sucessful result. Can i ask you two questions?

how did you trigger the flash, or was it blind luck?

and, what was the water in? some form of shallow tank?

can u tell me how exactly u set this shot up?? im very curious...i have a 20D with a 580ex flash and a 100mm 2.8 macro, and have tried many things to get a result like this..i have got a couple i am happy with, but none that i am extatic about.

im sorry..i know you talked about this a little earlier in the comments for the picture but it was in a diff. language than english so i couldnt understand it. How did the flash freeze the action but not overexpose the drop considering you were obviousley not in a very well lit area?? you used a 420 so it wasnt a macro ring flash so i was just curious of how you made it look so great and perfectly exposed. I just got my 580 ex flash so any advice, tips, or comments on how to do shots like these or any macro shots with my new flash will be very helpful. thank you and great work

This is incredible! What was the water placed in? How did you get that angle and have the water go off into the background?

Perfectly captured water moment!
I absolutely love the sense of motion, calming and balanced.

I have a question about such water-shots:
Where are you taking this? (water in a bowl, bathtub, puddle )

i tryed to do some like this but no success, my cameras focal rage is between f2.8 and f8.0 and i noticed you used f22, so do you think it is possible to get reasonable results with my camera?
