Description
Recycled the daily timed interval exercise by taking another pass to reinforce outlines. Did both the sketching and the outlines with the "soft pencil" tool in CSP to cut down on searching and reduce the mud. Don't get me wrong, I like the mud, or the "smoke" (Sfumato) as the Italian Renaissance Masters called it. I love pulling out the figure from a fog of tone both when drawing and painting. But it builds habits that get in the way of clean line drawing and inking. Here I still see some of those bad habits showing where I searched for the outline, instead of hitting it in one definite and final stroke. So, moving out of my comfort zone to broaden ability. First set of 20 was so bad that in order to post, today, I had to do another one.
