I will add better photos if anyone's interested.
I actually made the two figurines using two different things methods. For the one that was featured in its own little submission (on the right), I used traditional sticking-and-smoothing techniques. For the one on the left, I fashioned the body out of a modified quadruped base (I have this method for making quadrupedal figures that I call the quadruped base; the last time I used it properly was when I made that Houndour).

UPDATE: One of the Cyndaquil in the photo has been given a home. The other one'll probably be staying with me.
