The world is dead. Most had succumbed to the cold.
The few that did not, soon fell to the Great Machine’s purge.
But somewhere in this frozen hell, a soul remains alight.
Protected by one without, they push forward;
One step farther from the Great Machine’s grasping claws,
One fire away from the cold’s eternal embrace.
Together, they struggle onwards;
Seeking life in a world that had died long ago.

This series will be known as 'Project Ember' for the time being.
