New album is just gorgeous! *O* Usually I pay more attention to vocals and lyrics, but his music is so unbelivably sublime... I wonder, how my heart didn't explode the first time I was listening to it. This album is HEART indeed.
And of course my favourite song is the most gentle ballade, full of tenderness, eternity and falling stars.
Actually, when I took a pencil in my hand, I was going to draw Ruki-san. But then suddenly this smile came up, and I just couldn't picture him smiling like that. No, of course, he can smile very brightly, that's the thing with people who suffered a great loss in their lives - they know the price for that smile. But I just felt something like "no, it's not his smile, but I've seen this one somewhere... oh, of course, it's Kamijo, who else can smile with such overwhelming tenderness!". To be honest, I can't explain my feelings, when I see him smiling. Just... TOO MANY FEELS xDDDDD No, but seriously, I tried, but ended up with even more mixed up emotions)) And when I finished this portrait, I understood one really important thing. I was happy not because I turned up to be such a good artist, but because I managed to express my feelings and the image in my head exactly as I wanted. The grey lines on the white paper did the magic where the words were powerless.
The outfit is obviously from "Heart" PV. I love that shirt, I had one like that once, you can see me wearing it on the avatar. But sadly I grew out of it... Well, I still can put it on, but then I come to a choice - a shirt or breathing xDDDDD
I've spent a lot of time wondering if he really needs that light around his head. But then I remembered Anne Rice's canon, where vampires have this magical glow aroung them, when seen by humans. Well, Kamijo is the best Lestat impersonification yet (apart from Tom Cruise, of course), so in the end I just decided "so be it".
