Description
This is sort of a follow up to my previous drawing about the Japan incident here:

Very shortly after I posted that drawing, Valve came out their donation drive here:

Which I found to be rather interesting timing (not as "interesting" as the Earthquake hitting only one day after TF2's Japanese-themed update though, heh).

To get it out of the way, this drawing is Not calling valve a bunch of self-righteous pricks, though maybe they do have some there, I dunno. That's not the point. The point of this drawing was just to share my continued satirical feelings of the situation expressed from the first drawing, and apply it to the TF2 bit. And of course I also just wanted the hat.

I did buy the hat. It was the cheapest, but as far as the Self-Righteous Prick-Fairy is concerned, "giving what you can" is as ego-boosting as a million bucks. That's not why I did this. And I know that the 300+ thousand dollars valve alone has raised is not exactly wanted or needed by the Japanese, but that's still not the point.

I wanted the hat, so I got it. Technically, I donated. Whoopdeedoodahdamn, I really don't care. I didn't even really want to make another drawing about the situation, but the artistic inspiration and fun of it all was all the motivation I needed. And it's always good to have any excuse you can to draw any of the Team Fortress characters. So that I enjoy. That's the purpose of it all.

And side note, with the use of a name & description tag, I really did name this hat "Apathist's Arsehat" and the description is identical to the text in the drawing. It's just the kind of odd sense of humor I have.

And like the first drawing I did, if anyone is offended, well, I guess you can just suck my tanto, you whiny little Maggots.
