Yuki in KOF gaiden instead of Shingo through Time Slip from the event of KOF 97 where she met Magai, Yamato, Kaya and Yakumo

Based on the manga made by Azuma Kyutarou, After the event of KOF 97, Yuki transfer into the past and met Kyo and Iori's ancestors, Magai and Yamato and learning of their rivalry and the insidious nature of Hakkeshu, who had orchestrated a rift between Kusanagi and Yasakani in their attempts to revive Orochi. Here she met Magai, Yakumo, Kaya and Yamato, her boyfriend's ancestor and met her ancestor, a twelve year old girl named Momiji and Shingo's ancestor. Also, Yakumo's presence made Yuki feels uncomfortable and frightened when he wanted to take a good look at her for more questions but Yamato and Magai, noticed her discomfort, manage to pull her away protectively.
Like with Shingo, Fate had led the Yasakani clan down a tainted path, but both clans shared concerns about the future, as Orochi's blood threatened to disrupt their harmony, despite her efforts to make both clans remained friends. Instead of harboring grudges against each other, Yuki manage to save Yamato and Magai with her hidden powers that unleash a sparking gold wave from her body and spread light energy around an area that can banish the curse by sending Goenitz in Yakumo's corpse flying and restore Magai's free will that causes Yamato and Magai witnessed her memories. Her interference made both clans realize that the Hakkeshu are the ones who pulling the strings thus created the discord sown between them. There, they also realize that Yuki is the Future Kushinada and Yamato manage to tell her to never forget that he will always protect her in the future, thus altered forever the dynamic between Iori and Kyo, transforming their murderous hostility into a harmonious rivalry.

Yuki's role is the mix of Kagome Higurashi, Miaka Yuki, Sei Takahashi and Hitomi Kanzaki.
