Is summer over already?! Uggg... Now that my kids are all in school, I found myself with some time on my hands that I haven't had in a while, so I was able to make this in a couple days! As I was working on my last major project, the Dreamland piece, I was listening this this song (Paper Crown) quite a bit. I couldn't get this imagery out of my head, so it became my next piece! This is the death of Dreamland (although in real life it was bulldozed, not burned to the ground). As inspired by the anime Amagi Brilliant Park, I made a nameless, faceless princess (or queen I suppose) of Dreamland, holding her paper crown and watching her kingdom in flames. That's actually Dori, one of the mascots there with her. I had a lot of fun with this one and I love how it turned out. I recommend giving the song a listen!
