This year, Sumikins and I were invited to take part in the World Cosplay Summit. Back when we dreamed about going, we decided that if we ever had the chance to go, we wanted to do Princess Tutu. Princess Tutu is Krystal's favorite series and, although it's somewhat of an obscure anime, the themes within the story are so universal that we knew the story could rise above language barriers.

We focused on the story of Rue and Mytho and incorporated the theme of Beauty and the Beast. I cosplayed Rue and it was my first time making a large gown, which was no easy task to do in 6 weeks! You can watch the skit here:
