Hello everyone, I’m back!!! Geez.. has it really been that many months well, guess I finished this semester with a bang and went a bit crazy over the summer building new models. Well, I’m here now, and I’ve got a ton more to share so stay tuned, because they’ve only gotten better!

I call this one the kangaraptor, due to its kangaroo like appearance when positioned in its walking stance. Adding to its “kangarooness”, I built the legs in a way that they can spring fold, and actually bounce. He is one of the earlier prototypes I did, when I was figuring out a new body plan where I was working on creating back scales that fold and interlock into each other. These flexible back scales allow the back to arch more effectively, enabling the model to look more realistic while it jumps, or climbs using the back legs.
