Description
Taken while geocaching on Mt Penn not too far from the Pagoda, the fog was very thick, and it was quiet in the forest. I don't have many pictures of the fog, so I thought I'd start here.Related content

This photo really stood out for me. I guess you could say that it holds such a natural beauty, which you were able to capture amazingly well.
Along with said beauty, you still managed to keep a fairly eerie feel to it. Which despite popular belief, can be sometimes a challenge.
The positioning is perfect- you don't overly see too much of the photo, which keeps the view guessing.
The lighting is difficult for sure- but you managed to work with it for the general feel for sure.
Simply a great 'feel' photo. Makes me want to take a nice stroll down the pathway.
Awesome job!

This is a great capture, I really love how the trees frame the image, and how the overall photo is dark, which - coupled with the fog - gives it a eerier and more mysterious feeling. I really love how the path in the middle of the image disappears into the background, it not only helps guide the viewer throughout the image as a whole, but has the viewer wondering where it continues to lead. Given that we can't see a whole lot deeper into the image, we have to keep guessing what lies beyond. Great use of the natural lighting and excellent composition, overall, fantastic work!

I love thick fog. It makes for such eerie and fascinating photos no matter how "boring" it might seem. It's just a shame that I live in an area that doesn't get very much, if any.

This photo just creeps me out, but Fog with no other human there just creeps me out in general. Very nicely done. I would like to take a stroll, BUT only if someone was with me lol
