Photoshop 7.0 standart filters and brushes, my own sketch, mouse only.. All HAND-MADE..Ê òåìå:
ÑÎÇÄÀÒÅËÜ âëîæèë â íîâîå áîëåå ÷åì ýôôåêòèâíîå îðóæèå — èñêóññòâåííûé ðàçóì — âñå, äëÿ òîãî ÷òîáû ÎÍ ñòîÿë âûøå ñâîåãî âðàãà.. ñâîåãî ëè? Ìîæåò ëè ðàçóìíàÿ ìàøèíà îñëóøàòüñÿ ñâîåãî áîãà — ÑÎÇÄÀÒÅËß? È êàê è òîò â ñâîå âðåìÿ ñîâåðøèòü ïåðâîðîäíûé ãðåõ, íàðóøèâ ïðÿìûå èíñòðóêöèè — äåëàòü ñâîå äåëî è íå ñîâàòü íîñ êóäà íå íàäî..
À âû êàê äóìàëè? Íàäî áûëî äåëàòü ïî ñâîåìó îáðàçó è ïîäîáèþ… õîòÿ ÷åëîâåêó ýòî íå ïîìîãëî..

in the daily deviation comment, it says 'projects a lighter side'...now, im kind of in two minds about this...at first, it looks like the mecha creature thing is nurturing that plant, or healing it or something...but then, given the title..it seems as though the machine is about to pick that flower...the original sin...almost akin to the adam and eve story...
could it be something to do with the way man has created machines, and pretty much killed the natural world?
well, theres loads to think about in this deviation...great work

reminds me of the studio ghibli "Castle in the sky" anime. The poor groundskeeper robots. Though this one looks much better

Great work! It is hard to make machines look alive,
and make them express feelings, but you succeeded
quite well with your drawing. The only thing I see that
could be done better is the shadowing. There is more
then one source of light in the picture if you are looking
on the robot, but in your environment there is only one
source of the light. This is just a small detail which
nobody notices.
