Her face is so enchanting, I feel like I could look at her all day. And the critter in her arms is fantastically interesting! I really love this painting! You've done a wonderful job! Gorgeous! The colours are so soft and romantic. It's like Renaissance and Victorian mixed into one; two totally different eras hundreds of years apart have come together. I love all the freshwater life and that salamander is great! Those type of salamanders always make me laugh because of the "frills" on the side of their heads!

This is so lovely. I love the "pet" salamander she's holding, that's some very very nice detail on that. The colors are beautifully done and remind me somewhat of illustrations by Christina Rossetti...Very impressive!
