Had this Hammer Head floating around in my head for awhile and finally got around to doing it. Hope you all like it and Im always open for a constructive critique.Related content

Thanks bud.....the nail under the skin trick is nothing more than layer effects and some masking. I really didnt like the way it turned out, thats one of those thing I may work on later. As far as the hammer nail situation your right. I kinda wanted it to look like the hammer part was trying to pull out the nail. I know its reverse but the pic wouldnt look right with the hammer upside down lol.
Your right about the shadows....I have them going in all different directions, must rework. Thanks for the comments...they really help.

This is an awesome manip - very well done indeed! As far as critique goes, I think only one tiny detail could be looked at - the tip of the the sword. The different objects in the frame have shadows and so they stand out and away from the background, but the tip doesn't really seem to. This is also because it's slightly blurred and fades into the background more than it stands away from it..

Thank you and yes your critque does help.....Im always telling people pay attention to the details and I forgot to add the shadow at the end of the big nail. I also wanted to redo that tip but forgot in a hurry to submit this one. Im going to rework this as soon as I can because I want to order a 20 x 24 print of this fo myself. Thats for pionting that out, I may have ordered the print and then noticed it.

Thank you. The wood part is suppost to be the handle of the hammer....I just needed something to cover up my lower half is you know what I mean. I didnt want this to have mature content.
