What happens when you let netghost use 1 brush (2 sizes), 1 eraser, and no layer modes, no fancy effects, nothing else? This.So I doubt anyone will be even vaugely interested in this, but every now and then I have to stop drawing trees and do something completely else. Since I've been reading some Jack Kerouac, and looking at impressionist paintings and such, this seemed appropriate.
Total break from my norm, your regularly scheduled netghost will return shortly

Putting limitations on yourself is a great way to get the creative juices flowing.. trying new things and finding more out about what you can do. Heh.. it's quite strange seeing your work without the yummy brush textures.. but it's all good Although I will say this.. one of the things I really love about your work is that they're all so "finished" - something which I think this piece is lacking a little.
I like the way this portrays the city as a really gloomy place, with a forest of obtrusive buildings.. and ugly behemoth buses. The guy in the foreground seems alienated, yet he's inevitably become a part of it. Rather a depressing feel to it. On that note, I find the choice colour of that store on the left a bit odd.. seems to draw unecessary attention to itself.. unless I'm missing some symbolism there :/
While I don't like this quite as much as your other work, it's still a terrific piece.. and undenyable netghostish

oh shut up! this is soooo awesome, it's great that your sorta streatching your creative wings, so-to-speak, everything about this is lovely. there are lots of people out here on that will pump out trendy stuff day after day after day, and it'll be okay, but there's something in your stuff that has a real artistic quality. the only problem is, would it kill you to make it 1280x1024?

I like this quite a bit and it shows that you're not limited to one particular object (although many of your pieces show that ). I really like the buildings in the background a lot, those are great!

umm, yea...zhudesign, thats a little annoying. anyway, i can totally see the Kerouac influence here. its amazing what you can do with so little, your so talented.
