Description
I've been using a lot of round opacity & hard round brush for this one, I haven't done this since I was 16 years old or something lol. Ever since smudging brushes appeared with Painter I stopped using opacity which made me lost that transparent gouache feeling. I'm definitively not a painter or don't have the right approach. But it was actually a good Intuos practice trying not to go over the lines when I paint/hatch instead of using layers which allows you to be careless.Related content

YAY! They are back!Β I have missed them and their stories.
This is good.Β And using a technique you need to be careful with helps hone your skills.

This piece reminds me of old Capcom games concept art. The giant robot probably helps a lot, looks like it could be pulled out of a Megaman Legends game. For someone who doesn't paint a lot the brush strokes and colors look really good.

There are so many small details, the longer i look the more i find and for some reason im just obsessed with the dirt detailing on everything haha

Donchoo talk down about this, you did great. I can't wait to see more. I made a brush recently I call my Stalenhag. It's made a world of difference, but the most important thing (and you might agree) we've grown as artists. Learning better blending but also color management.
Breathe well, drink water, stay curious.
