Description I work in a labratory.
At the facility, we're looking for a form of Biological Regeneration, a simplified way of saying it is regeneration, the ability to re-grow limbs and even cloning.
Everyday some of my skin cells and blood are harvested off my body, it doesn't hurt, no skin off my nose, no pun intended. I'm not the only one, to have variety incase something goes wrong, there's somebody else with me.
Yesterday one of the other workers had his finger removed and was then injected with some of the cell graphs the scientists were growing. He's been lathargic, I hope he's alright.
Its been a while, the same guy who's been sluggish lately has gotten a lump where his finger used to be, though I don't know if thats the cell graph working.
It's been three days, my co-worker has a strange bump on his back, the scientists pay no mind, telling eachothers that it's a side effect. Another day goes by, my co-worker has been diagnosed with an unidentified form of cancer.
He's been moved to another area, they're doing routine check-ups and taking notes on this unknwon cancer.
He's dead, or at least thats what the scientists are saying. I can't see him, my area is covered.
It's late at night, it's also been a week, I have to stay here for the night, the covering that was blocking my view is gone. My co-worker isn't the same.
Limbs like arms and legs bursting from his body, a corner of his area crowded with pulsating pieces of flesh that seem to be growing, and the wosrt part is that he's noticied me.
He gets out of his area, which isn't even possible in his condition, and hobbles over to my area.
He slams his body into the glass that is the only thing seperating us, after a while he stops, and he places his mututated limbs on the glass and starts climbing.

I know if I swim faster than he can climb i'll be able to escape, but I know I can't get very far out of my water tank.
