spring:
花が咲く、春の誇り
hana ga saku haru no hokori
sakura blossoms, the pride of spring.
summer:
蛙（かわす）が鳴る、夏の終り
kawasu ga naru natu no owari
hear the frog croaks! end of summer.
autumn:
紅葉の掛布団、秋の実り
momiji no kakebuton aki no minori
maple leaves as blanket, a fruitful autumn.
winter:
雪のダミーを作る、冬の楽しみ
yuki no damii wo tukuru fuyu no tanoshimi
sculpting a snow dummy, winter is fun!
